Site-Responsive Artist,
Sculptor & Cultural Producer
I create site-responsive installations and environments that explore how land, space, materials, and people hold, share and morph memory. My practice is grounded in deep listening, curating moments of stories that exist before and beyond words, within place, light and person.
Trained in textile design and theater production, I draw on the language of traditional craft and light, weaving these influences into a contemporary, material-led practice. My work moves between sculpture, installation, scenography, and socially engaged projects, creating environments where material, place, and human presence shape one another.
Land and Identity: As a second-generation immigrant who has lived across borders, my work is fueled by questions of identity, belonging, and the invisible narratives embedded within the landscape and communities. Working predominately with organic and found materials, I treat them as carriers of memory and collaborators, exploring forms that place land, sky, and the human role in dialogue.
Through large scale site-responsive environments, sculptures and participatory experiences I explore things that cannot themselves be physically touched, asking myself:
What is this thing that sits before language settles into meaning?
